Getting Started & Account Access

A: HyperRails enables businesses to convert between fiat currencies and stablecoins, perform fiat-to-fiat exchange, and manage liquidity using stablecoins as the settlement rail.
A: HyperRails is both. You can perform on-ramp, off-ramp, FX, payout, and liquidity operations directly from the dashboard, or integrate programmatically using the HyperRails API once your account is approved for API access. Most merchants start on the dashboard and move to the API as their transaction volume grows.
A: HyperRails is built for:
  • Merchants performing on-ramp, off-ramp, and FX transactions
  • Exchange Clients supplying stablecoin or fiat liquidity
  • Enterprises managing cross-border treasury operations
A: Sign up directly on the HyperRails application and complete onboarding based on your role (Merchant or Exchange Client).

On-Ramp Transactions

A: An on-ramp converts fiat currency into stablecoins, crediting the stablecoins to your HyperRails wallet.
A: HyperRails currently supports NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, XOF, USD, GBP, and EUR for fiat currencies, major stablecoins like USDT and USDC with networks such as BASE, ETHEREUM, POLYGON and STELLAR.
A: Settlement times depend on the fiat corridor, but most on-ramps complete within minutes to a few business hours.

Off-Ramp Transactions

A: An off-ramp converts stablecoins into fiat currency, which is then paid out to a local bank account.
A: Funds can be sent to supported local bank accounts linked to your HyperRails account.
A: Rates are executable at the time of transaction and reflect current liquidity and market conditions.

Fiat Currency Exchange

A: Fiat-to-fiat exchange is executed via stablecoins:
Fiat A → Stablecoin → Fiat B.
A: Stablecoins enable faster settlement, lower costs, and better transparency compared to traditional correspondent banking.

Liquidity & Pricing

A: Liquidity is aggregated from multiple exchange clients across fiat corridors and stablecoin markets.
A: Approved institutions and entities with fiat or stablecoin liquidity can onboard as Exchange Clients.
A: Rates are calculated using aggregated liquidity and market pricing, with spreads dynamically adjusted based on transaction volume and liquidity depth.
